{ sneak peek: Baby R (my precious lil' nephew) }

Here is just a quick sampling of some cute pics that I took of Baby R two weeks ago when he was just 14 days old.  I just couldn't help but smile & go "aaawww" when I was going over all of his pictures.  His sweet baby face, his lush locks, the way he curls his lil' hands...I just love him to pieces!!!  Thank you C & S for your patience...I know you have been waiting patiently to get a quick glimpse of the pics that we took!  I will post more to FB in the upcoming days.  

Fun at the Omaha Zoo

The boys & I took a day trip to Omaha last week with Gigi to the 

great Henry Doorly Zoo.  

It was a perfect day...great weather, literally no crowds and the boys were in good spirits.  The zoo is Awesome, with a capital A...a true Midwest treasure!  So many cool animals, natural habitats and interactive displays.  We were sad that we didn't get to see the polar bears swim, but we had lots of fun interacting with the gorillas, feeding the gigantic koi fish, seeing the monkeys up close & personal in the rainforest, walking through a forest of butterflies and much, much more.   We can't wait to go again next year!

Hanging with Kate

T absolutely loves tagging along with his cousin Kate on the rare occasions that we get together. She is so sweet with him...always sharing her toys (and food), encourages him to play with her and her friends, and always gives him a helping hand.

Celebrating Gigi's Bday

The boys & I had a wonderful time with Gigi when she came to stay with us last week.  We celebrated her birthday (a few days late) with a unique birthday cake - 

frog cupcakes.  

T spotted them out of a huge line of cakes/cupcakes, and they couldn't have been more perfect given her & Tanner's affection for frogs/toads.  T was very excited to present Gigi with her birthday cake, but he was even more excited to get a taste of the cake & gobs of icing afterwards.

She took our pics during her visit back home to Missouri a couple weeks ago. The pictures turned out great, especially considering that both of the boys weren't in the best of moods to say the least. Bruns Family Reunion

After a busy week participating in A LOT of summer activities with the boys, I am finally getting around to posting some shots I took last weekend at the
Bruns Family Reunion - Terri's 50th Birthday Party.
I was hoping to take more pictures at the event, but I was too busy having fun.

Father's Day Pics

I got some great "Father's Day" shots this past weekend - one with J and his dad after playing in the Father-Son Tournament and the other with J and the boys (note: J is proudly wearing his huge "Best Dad" Spongebob Square Pants sticker courtesy of T).

Kauffman Stadium watching the ROYALS beat the Rangers.
Tanner had a blast with his grandpa and dad and set
a new all-time record...
staying in his seat (or section at least) for the entire game.

Summer Visitor

We had a great time this weekend with Nydeliz who is staying with my parents for the summer while she interns at GE. On Friday, we took her to Loose Park so she could experience her first official picnic and enjoy all the beautiful park scenery.
