Penguin Park

I had completely forgotten about
Penguin Park
until a couple of weeks ago when someone mentioned it in conversation.  It was like I was a little kid again as I got extremely anxious to go that very second.  My sisters & I used to love, love, love coming to this park with our Aunt Mildred and Pa when we were young...playing in the giant penguin & kangaroo, hanging from the large swirly structure and feeding the ducks.  I remember thinking it was the coolest park ever!

It was fun to see the boy's delight as soon as we drove up to the park and saw the bigger-than-life animals.  T couldn't contain his excitement and let out a huge squeal when we pulled in the parking lot.  He ran with lighting speed from one thing to another the entire time we were there.  Baby CJ enjoyed watching all the kids running around like crazy and got to crawl around a little before he started putting strange things in his mouth.  As for me, it was just what I remembered...even better.

It looks just like I remember it also. It's nice to have a place that has not changed much, only making it better. Have fun boys! I'm sure you will have some good memories of Penguin Park also.

You'll have to send these pictures to Aunt Mildred!
