Welcomed Traveler

Living near a lake, we have a lot of red-eared slider turtles who like to visit our neighborhood this time of year and lay their eggs. While grilling with our neighbors this weekend, we spotted one trying to make a quick getaway in the cul-de-sac and just had to say hello. T was a little bit fearful of the turtle, though the turtle was much more scared than he was (notice the stream of pee). CJ loved every minute of it though.
